(Technically, it’s Saturday, but I got caught up in the Royal goodness.)
I know this is during Archie Comics’ “New Archies” phase, and this was during the time they were trying to revamp Jughead’s image due to small-scale outrage about his not having any girlfriends whatsoever. And I know this is the late ’80s-early ’90s when all this revamping was going on. But for the love of all that’s good, Jughead was called “Riverdale’s Loverboy”?!? I mean, it’s an awesome cover. It’s very well drawn, and the deatil on the clothes, particularly Jughead’s is AMAZING. but seriously?!?!?! AAAUGH!
Yet on the other hand, I’m sure the stories made for very entertaining reading. I’d like to find a vintage copy.
