The New York Post has released new information about the new “Kevin Keller” miniseries, featuring the first-ever openly gay character in Archie Comics, Kevin Keller.
The miniseries, which will be out in June, will focus on traditional Archie stuff like Kevin growing accustomed to life in Riverdale, but, according to the article, the miniseries will also focus on tougher stuff like how Kevin came out to his parents, who, judging by their limited face time in “Veronica #202″, seem pretty open-minded and supportive.
I’ve reached out to Kevin’s creator Dan Parent for his word on the series, so we’ll see if he responds. In any case, I’ll be reviewing the miniseries, so keep watching come June for my review. For more Kevin Keller news, check out these articles.
