Just yesterday I wrote a post on how Cartoon Network is keeping up their alternative cartoon line-up with the additions of Regular Show and Sym-Bionic Titan. Well, it appears they’re getting even bolder by greenlighting MAD, a cartoon sketch show based on the same weird, satiric humor the magazine had. I’m not sure if I should be weirded out or stoked, mostly because I thought MAD magazine was creepy as a kid. But it appears that the show will also have a retro early ’90s feel; the show’s clips seemed so retro that I questioned whether or not the series had already aired years ago.
