Most people would prefer a summer filled with sunny days spent at the seaside or in the garden with the barbeque, but unfortunately the UK is not always blessed with infinite hours of sunshine. It is lucky then that plenty of highly anticipated films are due for release this spring and summer. We’ve looked for the best titles to give you an idea of what is in store for those rainy days[1].
For the kids: Toy Story 3
The kids of today may not have been around with the introduction of the original Toy Story, but this Disney film is now a classic. Toy Story 2 was available in 3D so a lot of kids will have seen it like that at the cinema or on DVD at home. Toy Story 3 will be out this summer; and if it is anything like the other films there will be plenty of Disney memorabilia to go along with it.

For the teens: The Twilight Saga: Eclipse
The third in the series of the Twilight Saga is released this summer, which is sure to bring plenty of teens into an excitable frenzy as the date draws closer. Eclipse as it is more commonly known, will follow the story of Bella Swan and Edward Cullen as they face challenges and fears involving nomadic vampires and werewolves.

For the men: Iron Man 2
Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) takes centre stage for the second time in his Iron Man suit. This film will see Tony having to protect his creation after pressure comes from the government to hand it over, as well as the new threat of an enemy alter ego. Other stars in this film include Scarlett Johansson, Mickey Rourke, and Gwyneth Paltrow. (for a review of this film, click here)

For the women: Sex and the City 2
There is not much known about the plot of the second of the Sex in the City movies other than what is in the official trailer. However, fans will be happy to hear that Carrie, Miranda, Samantha and Charlotte will be back to share the stories of their metropolitan lives, and the trials and tribulations they face on the way.
